Describe what you have in mind, then upload a clear garment reference photo or sketch to generate the technical drawing. A description can start the conversation; sketch generation needs a reference image. Syl, the design assistant, helps you specify the silhouette, fabric, closures, and construction.

Sylai generates a flat technical sketch using your reference image and design notes. Review measurements, materials, and construction, and ask Syl for changes. Use Add artwork to upload a logo or create lettering, then position and resize it on the sketch. Check each updated view before exporting.

Export
Download a PDF containing your saved technical drawings, artwork placements, materials, measurements, and construction notes. Review the exported pages before sharing them with your manufacturer. Confirm dimensions, materials, and construction through sampling before production.

You can start chatting with a plain-English description. To generate the technical sketch, upload a clear garment reference photo or sketch. Add logos and other artwork separately using Add artwork on the sketch; this keeps the original artwork available for placement.
Yes. You can keep chatting with Syl to adjust measurements, swap fabrics, and change construction details. You can also move or resize artwork on the sketch. Review the affected drawings, measurements, and renders after a change, then download an updated PDF.
Sylai is designed for cut-and-sew apparel: tops, dresses, bottoms, outerwear, and related garments. It’s not tuned for knitwear, footwear, accessories, or heavily tailored suiting today. If the first pass looks wrong for your category, tell Syl what’s off and it will adjust.
Measurements are a starting point, not a guarantee. Sylai proposes a first set of specs from your description; you review and adjust them before exporting. For production, you should fit a sample and iterate, same as any other tech-pack workflow. Sylai is there to get you to that first sample faster, not to replace fit reviews.
Make the change in the same conversation: “raise the neckline a half inch”, “switch to a 14-inch zipper”, and re-export. The updated tech pack keeps the same document structure your factory already knows, so they aren’t re-learning a new format every round.
